The Sullivan Rotary Club is proud to announce that Mr. Chris Stitzle will serve as this year’s Grand Marshal!
📅 Parade Date: Saturday, September 20, 2025
⏰ Time: 1:00 PM
🎶 Theme: "Small Town"
Mr. Stitzle is beginning his 40th year with the Southwest School Corporation and is currently serving in his 14th year as Superintendent. Throughout his career, he has worn many hats—teacher, coach, athletic director, principal, and now superintendent—always dedicating himself to the success of our students, staff, and community.
He is passionate about creating a positive learning environment, building lasting relationships, and ensuring every student has the opportunity to succeed. His leadership, along with the support of educators, staff, and the community, has been key to the district’s success.
Above all, Chris is grateful for the love and support of his family—his wife Erika and their son Derek—who have been by his side through his lifelong career in education.
👏 Join us in congratulating Mr. Stitzle on this well-deserved honor and come celebrate with us at the parade!
