We’re taking a moment to recognize and celebrate School Lunch Hero Day and the incredible cafeteria professionals who keep our students nourished and ready to learn each day.
Observed annually on the first Friday in May, this day honors the dedication of school nutrition staff who prepare healthy meals, follow strict safety standards, and serve every student with care and kindness. School Lunch Hero Day was inspired by author Jarrett J. Krosoczka to recognize the important role these professionals play in our schools.
At Southwest School Corporation, we are grateful for our cafeteria teams who go above and beyond to support our students and families.
Please join us in thanking our School Lunch Heroes!
