Thanks to the Project AWARE Educator Mental Health and Wellness Mini Grant, The Arrow Oasis wellness room is now open at Sullivan Middle School! This dedicated space was created by our school counselor to support our amazing staff, giving them a place to recharge, reflect, and focus on their well-being.
A huge thank you to Turning Leaf for being our partner in this initiative, offering guidance and support to make this vision a reality. We also want to express our gratitude to our wonderful SMS parents for helping stock the space with drinks and snacks—your generosity means so much!
Each month, the wellness room will have activities based on specific self-care activities. For March, the theme is art. Expression through art can help reduce stress, increase mindfulness, and boost overall well-being.
Together, we are fostering a culture of care and resilience for our educators, which will positively impact our entire school community. 💜💛
