The Southwest School Corporation recognizes May as Mental Health Awareness Month. Let's come together to break the stigma, foster understanding, and prioritize mental well-being for our students, staff, and community. Together, we can support each other and promote a culture of empathy and resilience. #MentalHealthAwarenessMonth

May is Mental Health Month!
As part of our commitment to encouraging our students to be healthy, our counselor Mrs. Wells will be encouraging SMS students to participate in Mental Health themed activities this month. Students who participate in ANY of the activities will have their names entered in a drawing for a prize.
Any questions can be emailed to Mrs. Wells.

Mr. Hitt doesn't seek recognition very often, if ever. That made it all the more fun for us to surprise him! Every day he shows up, works hard, and tries to help our students and staff have better days. Happy Principal Appreciation Day to our fearless leader! SMS is so thankful to have a principal like him!
