Support a great cause at the 13th Annual Casey’s Kicks Dinner, Show, and Silent Auction on Saturday, August 9, 2025, at 6:00 PM at Crossroads Community Church. Enjoy a delicious dinner featuring spaghetti, fettuccini, lasagna, salad, bread, dessert, and drink for just $12 per ticket, available at the door.

All proceeds go to Sullivan County schools to provide new shoes (“kicks”) for students in need.

Free Summer Meals Update Reminder

Important reminder about registering for FREE summer meals and an IMPORTANT UPDATE below: Southwest School Corporation will be distributing free non-congregate summer meals at Sullivan High School each Wednesday in June (June 4, 11, 18, and 25, 2025) from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Door #15. Each child in your home is eligible to receive 5 days’ worth of breakfast, lunch, and milk—but pre-registration is required. If you’re not registered, children must be present in the vehicle to receive meals. IMPORTANT UPDATE: If your children are not Southwest students, they must be in the car the first time you pick up meals or you must bring student verification—this is only required once. 📍 Location: Sullivan High School, Door #15 ⏰ Time: 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. (Must be in line by 1:30 p.m.) 📲 Scan the QR code on the flyer to register! Our hearts are heavy this morning as we think about our neighbors in Linton, who were hit by a devastating tornado last night. The images and stories coming out of the community are heartbreaking, and we know many families are facing unimaginable loss and uncertainty today. We will continue to keep Linton students, families, staff, and first responders in our thoughts and prayers in the days and weeks ahead. We believe in the power of community—and we believe in Linton.

Throughout the week, staff were recognized for their commitment to student success—going above and beyond to support learning, foster growth, and build meaningful relationships. Whether through creative classroom lessons, one-on-one support, or their involvement in extracurricular activities, our teachers consistently demonstrated their passion for education and their students. May 7th is School Nurse Appreciation Day, and Southwest School Corporation is proud to recognize and celebrate the exceptional care and dedication of our school nurses: Amanda Wheeler, Persephanie Clifford, and Nikki Livingston.
