bike rodeo

The SWSC and Purdue Extension Sullivan County are hosting a Bike Rodeo 1-4 pm Friday, May 31 for all SWSC K-5 students. The event will take place in the large parking lot in front of the Student Activity Center (SAC) at Sullivan High School. Students will need their bike, helmet, closed-toe shoes, and possibly a water bottle. (The National Youth Advocate Program will be providing bottles of water.) Activities include: bike safety lessons, riding courses and challenges, helmet fittings, bike tune-ups, group bike ride around downtown Sullivan, and more! Students will need a responsible person (older sibling, parent, guardian, grandparent, etc.) to attend with them but their responsible person does not have to have a bike.

You can register at this link. The registration link is also located on the bottom of Sullivan Elementary School and Carlisle Elementary/Middle School homepages. Please register each child individually.

See you on May 31! There will be some fun surprise activities as well!!
