Upcoming Dates
SMS Fall Sport Pictures for 5th grade students who participated in Tennis and XC will be Tuesday, September 12th. Tennis individual photos will be at 3:15 and XC will be at 3:45.
The PTO is selling SES spirit wear shirts for $10 each. Forms were sent home this week and are due Friday, September 15th.
Beta Club induction will take place on Wednesday, September 13th from 6:00-7:00pm in the SES gym for NEW members. 4th and 5th grade students who are eligible to join should have received a letter invitation in the mail last week.
The Sullivan Elementary School PTO will be hosting a Color Run on Saturday, September 30th at the Sullivan City Park. Students should have brought home registration forms this week with more information.
Get your school immunizations! “VIV” The Vaccine Immunity Vehicle will be at the Student Activity Center on Wednesday, September 27th from 3PM-6PM, for students still needing their school required immunizations. Parent/Guardian must be present. Please bring ID and insurance card, if applicable. For more information call 812-268-0224.
Fall Break will be Monday, October 9th - Friday the 13th.
SES Remembers 9/11
On Monday, September 11, our third, fourth, and fifth grade classes will be doing the "Walk to Remember 9/11" during their special classes.
To honor our firefighters, police, and emergency workers, we will be carrying the fire hose 3.43 miles to represent 343 firefighters who bravely gave their lives on September 11 during the attack on the Twin Towers. Please wear red, white, and blue on Monday, September 11.
Homework Helps
Homework helps will take place on Tuesday and Thursday after school until 4:10. If you would like your child to participate, you may contact your child’s teacher to get them signed up.
Dance Team
Dance practice will be every Wednesday from 3-4pm in the elementary gym. You must have a physical on file and Final Forms must be completed in order to participate.
Maize Runner
The SCCH Fitness Center will be hosting the Maize Runner 5K event of Saturday, September 16th at the Sullivan Civic Center at 8:00 am. For more details, please call 812-268-2536.
