🌟 PROM 2025 🌟 Sullivan High School is excited to announce PROM 2025 will be held on Saturday, May 3rd! Get ready for an unforgettable night of elegance, dancing, and memories to last a lifetime. 👑 Grand March – 6:00 P.M. 💃 Dance – 9:00 P.M. to 11:30 P.M. 📍 SHS Gymnasium Doors open at 5:00 P.M. Admission is $2. Gather your gowns, tuxes, and dancing shoes—it's going to be a magical evening! ✨

On Tuesday, April 23rd, we honor the unsung heroes behind the wheel—our school bus drivers. Rain or shine, early mornings or late afternoons, they show up with a smile, ready to greet students and ensure they travel safely to and from school. From offering kind words on tough days to remembering every name and stop, bus drivers do so much more than just drive—they build connections, provide comfort, and play a vital role in each student’s school journey. To all our drivers—thank you for your patience, reliability, and the countless miles you travel to support our students.

For 24 years, Susan Anderson served as a dedicated administrative assistant at Sullivan High School, touching countless lives with her kindness and unwavering support. To honor her legacy, we’re raising funds for the Susan Anderson Memorial Scholarship, which will be awarded to a graduating SHS senior who exemplifies her values of compassion and respect. The 2025 scholarship recipient will be announced at the Rotary Awards Banquet on May 19th at 6 PM. Important softball update!

Southwest School Corporation will operate on a two hour delay, Monday, April 7, 2025. Student drop-off will begin at 9:45 AM.

The Sullivan High School Lady Arrows Softball Team is hosting a softball clinic on Friday, April 18, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Sullivan Middle School Softball Fields. In the event of inclement weather, the clinic will be held in the elementary gym. This clinic is open to students in grades K–8 and will focus on fundamental skills including fielding, batting, running, and pitching/catching. Cost: $30.00 (Please make checks payable to Lela Earley) Registration Deadline: To ensure correct shirt sizing, please register by Monday, April 14. This is a great opportunity for young athletes to learn from the Lady Arrows team and improve their skills in a supportive environment. We look forward to seeing you there.

Congratulations to Jerry Coulson and all the Sodexo Future Chef competitors who showcased their culinary talents last night at Sullivan High School! Each participant prepared their own special dish for the judges, demonstrating creativity and passion in the kitchen. A big shoutout to all the participants: Dakota Eaglin, Harley Meadows, Jerry Coulson, Kasi Eaglin, Lita Doades, Maggie Meadows, and Tailyn Crowe. This competition, part of the 15th Anniversary Future Chefs National Challenge by Sodexo, encouraged young chefs to "Complete the Plate with Your Favorite Main Dish." Lucky winners from each school were selected to compete at Sullivan High School on March 6, 2025, with the event winner earning a spot in the Future Chefs National Challenge for a chance at great prizes! Southwest School Corporation will operate on a two-hour delay for Thursday, February 20th. Student drop-off begins at 9:45 AM.

Sullivan High School guidance counselors invite families to join them for important meetings tomorrow evening at Carlisle at 6 PM and next Thursday at SHS Cafeteria at the same time. Families are welcome to attend either day. This is a great opportunity for students and families to engage and discuss course requests. Please remember to bring your student’s Chromebook for access.
