On April 8, 2024, a total solar eclipse will cross North America. In Southwestern Indiana, residents will experience total darkness for 4 minutes and 5 seconds. Because of this, SWSC will be CLOSED on April 8th.

One week ago, our community was devastated by a tornado that destroyed homes and changed lives forever. In the week that has passed, more people have stepped up than we can ever thank. But we will try.
From the multiple fundraisers created to help our students to the Easter baskets and gift cards purchased for students affected, these gifts must be acknowledged. So many area schools have provided financial support, collected items to be donated to our families in need, and volunteered as teams and individuals where their help was needed most.
We would also be remiss if we did not praise our own teachers and students. While our students have willingly volunteered hundreds of hours over the past seven days to help their community, our teachers have shown grace, kindness and support through this unimaginable tragedy.
Lastly, our love and prayers continue to be with our families who are dealing with the process of rebuilding their lives. We hope this weekend provides rest and comfort for you all. #sullivanstrong 💜💛

After much consideration and discussion, the SWSC will have an elearning day Wednesday, April 5 due to the potential for severe weather. Assignments will be posted by 9 am. Students without Internet will not be penalized if they cannot complete assignments.
