Exciting news from the choir program! SHS had 16 students compete at the ISSMA District Solo Contest on Saturday, January 27th. Of the sixteen students who competed, we received 13 gold ratings and 3 silver ratings!
11 of the SHS Choir students will be advancing to the State Vocal Solo Contest at Perry Meridian High School in Indianapolis on February 17th! Students advancing to State are: Ryan Robertson, Gracie Trowbridge, Savanna Monahan, Emma Short, Jade Tatom, Josiah Hollis, Annily Condon, Bailey Flath, Chloe Latta, Emma Bonham, Savana Ridgway.
Students who received a gold rating, but are unable to attend state: Kylie Wagaman and Peyton Fulford. Students who received a silver rating: Daniel Bray, Savannah Ruble, and Carsyn Wayland.
Congratulations, singers! Good luck at State!

See Mrs. Smith for more information. ASB is a great item to put on your high school resume when applying for colleges, so come join our team.

Vincennes Star Driving School will be conducting a Driver’s Education class at Sullivan High School starting April 4.

Any FFA member interested in attending the National Farm Machinery Show on 2/15/18 in Louisville, Kentucky needs to sign up with Mr. Cross no later than Monday, 2/5/18. Cost to attend is $10, or the sale of two fruit items. You will not be signed up until paid, or fruit sale confirmation. Please see Mr. Cross or Mr. Miller for more details.

Mrs. Greggs will take late orders for Winter Sports pictures through Tuesday, Feb. 6th. Please take all orders to her classroom. If you need an order form, see Mrs. Greggs.

Beginning Monday, for $2 you can order a can of Crush to be given to your special someone on Valentine’s Day. Stop by the table in the Commons during lunch to pre-order you Crush for your Crush and write down a special message for them. On Valentine’s Day, your crush will receive your special message along with a can of orange Crush! Bring your $2 Monday and stop by the Commons to pre-order!
